Insgesamt 61.727 Personen waren direkt oder indirekt bei den Clubs und ihren Tochtergesellschaften beschäftigt. Das sind 5.646 mehr als in der bisherigen Rekordsaison 2018/19. Für die 36 Vereine und Kapitalgesellschaften waren 19.835 Menschen tätig, bei den Tochtergesellschaften der Clubs weitere 7.170. Damit hatten 27.005 Menschen eine direkte Arbeitsstelle bei den Clubs. Davon waren 9.118 als Vollzeitangestellte, die übrigen als Auszubildende, Teilzeitangestellte oder Aushilfen tätig.
